Insurer has started the search for George’s replacement, however home insurance leader will fill the post on an interim basis
Allianz UK has confirmed that Nicola George, managing director of the insurer’s Allianz Personal Broker division, will leave the business in October 2025.
George – who moved into a broader role at Allianz from LV= in May 2024, tasked with launching Allianz Personal Broker into the personal lines market – has opted to leave the business so that she can undertake a new challenge with her next role.
Allianz UK has started the search for George’s replacement. In the interim period, the role will be filled by home insurance managing director Graham Wright, who has worked at the insurer since November 2024.
Building brand position
Speaking on the announcement, Colm Holmes, chief executive at Allianz UK, said: “Allianz UK is now an established personal lines brand and we have some fantastic relationships with brokers.
“I’d like to thank George for everything she has done since joining the business and for helping to build Allianz’s position in the market.
“I’m very grateful for her contribution in this important part of our journey and I wish her well in her future plans.
“I would like to reassure brokers that during this period they can continue to expect excellent levels of service we provide to them.”
