’We are delighted that we were able to find a like minded partner in Adler Fairways,’ says managing director
Birmingham-based Adler Fairways has acquired insurance broking firm Mason Owen Financial Services.

With a team of 36 colleagues based across Liverpool and Norwich, the acquired broker strengthens Adler Fairways’ presence across the UK and extends its footprint into the north and east of England.
Following completion, Mason Owen will continue to operate under its existing name with clients supported by the same team, which is led by managing director Andrew Gibbons.
Anthony Adler, group chief executive at Adler Fairways, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Mason Owen into the Adler Fairways group and I personally am proud that Gibbons and the team chose Adler Fairways for the next stage of the Mason Owen journey.
”I have built a good relationship with Gibbons and members of his leadership team over the years and I have always admired the reputation they have established within the insurance industry. Mason Owen is a highly respected chartered broker with strong values, specialist expertise and a clear commitment to clients and colleagues – standards that reflect what we have built at Adler Fairways which is why it’s such a good fit for both of us.”
‘Like minded partner’
Incorporated nearly 40 years ago, Mason Owen built its reputation in the property investor sector before broadening its expertise across commercial insurance and developing a proposition in legal indemnity insurance.

Gibbons said: ”My co-directors and I have been considering the future strategy of the business for some time and in order to ensure that our client relationships and opportunities for our colleagues are best served, we have been seeking the right partner to allow our business to continue to prosper in the way that it has since 1999.
”We are delighted that we were able to find a like minded partner in Adler Fairways, who seek to achieve the same professional standards as we always have. Being able to retain both the benefits of being an independent broker and our chartered status was a key factor in our decision. Also, the fact that like us, Adler Fairways share our view that the wellbeing of colleagues and investing in them is an essential component of a successful business.”
