’I am delighted to welcome him, one of the most respected and successful leaders in our market who brings a unique understanding of brokers, insurance carriers, M&A and technology,’ says chair
Jensten Group has appointed Clive Buesnel as its new chief executive, succeeding Rob Organ.

Organ became chief executive at Jensten Group in November 2024, but has decided to step down two years later.
Buesnel will succeed him on 2 November 2026. He joins from Insurance Advisory Partners, where he is international managing partner.
He previously served as group chief executive at Tysers, where he led the transformation, integrated three major businesses, modernised the technology and operations and strengthened the leadership team.
Earlier in his career, Buesnel, as one of the founders, built and scaled the Xchanging Insurance division to c.£140m revenue and £26m ebitda.
David McMillan, chair at Jensten Group, said: “I am delighted to welcome him, one of the most respected and successful leaders in our market who brings a unique understanding of brokers, insurance carriers, M&A and technology from his time at IAP, Deloitte, Tysers and Xchanging.
”This combination of strategic perspective, operational expertise and proven ability to drive performance positions him strongly to lead the next chapter of growth for Jensten Group.
Buesnel added: “Jensten Group is a great business that has built national scale without taking trading decisions away from the people who know the client best.
”In our rapidly changing world, this is a very exciting time to be given the opportunity to lead the next chapter of development and growth – combining outstanding talent, innovative technology and AI with the backing of Bain Capital to create an exceptional business delivering market leading service and advice to our customers.
”I would like to thank Organ for his very significant contribution and leadership.”
Organ’s leadership
Organ joined Jensten Group in 2021 following the group’s acquisition of broker Tasker Insurance Group, where he had worked as chief executive since 2017.

He was made managing director of Jensten Retail as part of this transaction, before being made chief executive of broking at Jensten Group in May 2024. He became group chief executive a few months later.
Under Organ’s leadership, the business secured new backing from Bain Capital in 2025 and more recently completed its transition to a divisional structure, with dedicated leadership of both broking and product and distribution now in place.
Organ said: “Building Jensten Group to what it is today has been right up there amongst the proudest achievements of my career.
”Buesnel will bring a new perspective that will be welcomed across the group and there is nobody better placed to take this forward.”
McMillan added: “Organ has been critical in the building of this business, taking it on its initial growth journey to the strong position we find ourselves in today.
”Having built the divisional structure that will underpin the group’s next phase, Organ felt this was the right moment to hand over the reins.”

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
