Bridgehaven Specialty UK has entered into a strategic underwriting partnership with Amiga Specialty to provide long-term capacity for the MGA’s underwriting platform.

The agreement brings together Bridgehaven’s underwriting capacity and delegated authority expertise with Amiga’s specialist underwriting capabilities and growth strategy.
Bridgehaven said that the arrangement reflects its strategy of supporting specialist underwriting businesses with strong governance frameworks, technical expertise and growth ambitions.
Paul Dilley, chief underwriting officer at Bridgehaven, said: “Bridgehaven’s decision to partner with Amiga follows an extensive assessment of the MGA’s leadership team, underwriting capability, governance framework and strategic growth plans.

Focus
The partnership will initially focus on selected financial lines classes of business, with further products expected to be added as the relationship develops.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
