’This acquisition also highlights the strength of the Coversure model,’ says chief executive
Jensten Group has agreed to acquire Coversure Midlands as it continues to expand its regional broking footprint and UK distribution capabilities.

Coversure Midlands is the largest franchise in Jensten’s Coversure network. It employs around 30 people and writes commercial and personal lines business from offices across the Midlands and Kent.
The broker has also developed a specialist proposition spanning traditional broking alongside digital distribution through its online quote-and-buy brands, Boxguard and Fastquote.
Jensten said the acquisition further demonstrates its strategy of supporting broker owners throughout the lifecycle of their businesses, from establishment and growth through to succession and sale.
Gareth Birch, chief executive of broking at Jensten, said: ”Coversure Midlands is a high quality business with a strong team and local presence. This is a great example of how we support successful brokers to grow within Jensten and we’re delighted to welcome them into the group.
“This acquisition also highlights the strength of the Coversure model. We work alongside our members as they establish and grow their businesses and when the time comes for owners to step back and realise the value they have built, we can provide a natural long-term home for those businesses, their clients and their people.”
Network growth
Jordan Maskell, network director at Jensten, added: ”As the largest Coversure franchise, Midlands has been built into a highly successful operation over a number of years. It demonstrates the strength of our model and why businesses see Jensten as the right long-term home.
