’Uinsure has scaled significantly over the last few years and the opportunity for our insurer partners has naturally grown with it,’ says appointee
Uinsure has appointed Tom Doyle as chief trading officer as the cloud-based technology platform continues its expansion.

In his new role, Doyle will lead Uinsure’s trading strategy, with responsibility for insurer and capacity relationships, product development and portfolio performance.
He will also work closely with Uinsure’s pricing, data and distribution teams to ensure its propositions continue to meet the needs of customers, partners and insurers while supporting sustainable growth.
Doyle said: ”Uinsure has scaled significantly over the last few years and the opportunity for our insurer partners has naturally grown with it.
”It’s an exciting time to be joining the business, with real scope to deepen our insurer partnerships, using our insight and data assets to create additional value, expand our competitive footprint with more confidence and grow our product suite to serve the evolving needs of our partners and their customers.”
Experience
Doyle joins the business with more than 28 years of general insurance experience.

He joins from Markerstudy Retail, where he managed insurer capacity.
His previous experience also includes roles at Axa Commercial and Ageas Retail, giving him extensive insight into both insurer and distribution partner priorities.
Martin Schultheiss, group managing director at Uinsure, said: “Insurer partnerships are one of the three pillars our business is built on, alongside our technology and our distribution.
”Our distribution has driven much of our growth, with major banks, building societies and all major mortgage networks using our technology, which continues to evolve. Developments like our new Insurance Monitoring technology give our insurers more opportunities to compete for customers, so as our technology and distribution grow, our insurer partnerships need to grow with them.
“Bringing in the right people at the right time has been central to how we’ve scaled and Doyle has spent his career managing insurer relationships at an impressive scale. I’m delighted to welcome him to the business as we enter our next phase of growth.”

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
