’These requirements remain in force while we continue engaging with the firm,’ says FCA
The FCA has announced that insurance broker Anthony Jones Limited (AJL) has agreed to stop carrying out any regulated activity.

The regulator said the Dartford-based broker had halted activity on 9 July 2026.
It means that AJL cannot provide any services on behalf of an insurer, including selling new insurance policies, offering renewals, or providing any advice to new or existing consumers.
”If you purchased an insurance policy through AJL, please contact the underwriter or insurer directly to check whether your policy is valid and your cover remains in place,” the FCA said.
”These requirements remain in force while we continue engaging with the firm.”

The FCA urged customers to contact the insurer or underwriter named on their policy documentation to confirm whether the insurance policy is valid and check that any payments have been received by the insurer.
”Details of the relevant insurer or underwriter can be found in your policy documentation, including your policy schedule and policy terms and conditions,” the regulator said.
